With heartfelt love and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Veronica Swanston, whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the legacy of love, compassion, and strength she leaves behind.
Veronica's greatest joy was her family. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her beloved children, Marlon A. Swanston, Hayden P. Swanston, and Dale Greenidge Swanston (Canada); her loving sister, Joan Phillip (Canada); her treasured grandchildren, Brandon Amir Swanston, Ryane Swanston Williams, Sterling Swanston, Chelsea Swanston (Canada), Brianna Swanston and Nellika Swanston; and her loving great-grandchildren Aiden Swanston, Payton Swanston, and Skylavel Williams.
She is also lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Barbara Swanston; her nieces, Beverly, Cheryl, and Sharon, of Canada; her dear friends, Gwen Turner, Joanne Samuel, Joelle Suite, Terry Lynch, and Regina Joseph; her sister-in-law, Mary Dennie (deceased) and family; Valerie Reid (deceased) and family; Debbie Swanston and family; Donna Sheerwood and family; along with many other relatives and friends who were blessed to have known and loved her.
Though she has departed from this earthly life, Veronica's love, wisdom, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all whose lives she touched.
A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Veronica Swanston will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Eulogy and Tributes will begin at 9:00 a.m., and service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment follows at Kingshill Cemetery.
The family extends their sincere appreciation to all who have offered their prayers, love, and support during this time of bereavement. Your kindness and compassion are deeply appreciated.
