Una Clara Kirnon

Una Clara Kirnon was born on November 1, 1947, and peacefully departed this life on February 26, 2026. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, strength, and devotion to family will forever be remembered by all who knew her.

Una was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Nita Richards and Walton Richards, as well as her brothers Tennyson Richards and Roger Richards.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving daughters: Judy Kirnon, Carol Kirnon Munroe, Karren (Sonia) Kirnon, Kathlyn (Jenny) Kirnon, and Kathyann (Bonnie) Brathwaite. She is also survived by her sons-in-law Hilton Munroe, Kendol Brathwaite, and Grand-son-in-law Anthony Middle Brooks. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren: Nia, Shanel, Nikya, Kaylah, Kendall, Rhayne,Kyrah,Josiah Jermaine (JC), and Cherrie, her cherished great-grandchildren Rhavyn, Adam, Chalia, Janelle, Jermanie Jr. and Brycen. who brought her immense joy. She is lovingly remembered by her brothers Orville, Ridley, Robert Richards, and her sisters Judy Richards and Eunice Cummings. She also leaves behind her dear aunt Myrah. Una will be fondly remembered by her nieces Dion, Denise, Donna, Kathy, Giselle, Nicole, Nacile, and Joy, and her nephews Dave, Frankie, Carl, Lenny, Carlos, Tennyson, Alex, Darren, Kevin, Timothy, and Walley. She is also survived by her in-laws Denise, Shirley, Claudia, Joslyn Richard’s and Edith Morgan.

She shared special bonds with her dear friends Lena Charles, Maria Leon and family, the Cherry Family, Sarah Greenaway, Ellen Abraham, Veronica Huggins, Vernalin Charles, Carmen Johnson, Diane Allicock, Lima Mark , Cynthia Desouza, Wilbert Esprit, Cutbert (Seck)Desouza, Tishan Matthew’s, Nikya Showell, and Abramson Enterprise Inc. along with many other relatives and friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and generosity.

A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Una Clara Kirnon will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church, #2 Williams Delight, Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands 00840. Viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the service at 10:30 a.m.

Una Clara Kirnon’s love, faith, and gentle spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
