Rupert Wells

The family of Rupert Wells are saddened to announce his passing on September 18, 2026. Born on June 21, 1932, Rupert will be remembered and cherished by his loving family, dear friends, and all those whose lives he touched throughout his years.

Rupert leaves to cherish his precious memories his daughters, Sandra Joseph, Sheridan Rogers, and Janice; his sons, Edrned Joseph and Kenneth Webbe; and his beloved grandchildren, Alicia Freeman, Melissa Warner-Sappor, Amari Joseph, Mickayla Joseph, Shemica Budgeon, Nakeem Maynard, and Ednel Rogers.

He is also survived by his cousins, Dr. Eustace Huggins and family, Weston Huggins and family, and Edna and Ilis Spingette. He will also be fondly remembered by his special friends, We-We and Victor, along with many other family members and friends who are too numerous to mention.

Though Rupert’s presence will be deeply missed, the memories he leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. May his life be remembered with love, and may his family and friends find comfort in the precious memories they shared with him.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at the Divine Funeral Services & Crematory Chapel, located at #129 Peter’s Rest, Christiansted, VI 00820. Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
