With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Providencia Torres, who departed this life on January 25, 2026. Though our hearts ache in their absence, we are comforted by the memories, love, and legacy they leave behind.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manolin Torres; her mother, Antonia Felix; her father, Eulogio Rivera; and her daughter, Wanda Torres-Navarro.
She is survived by her sons, Manuel and Juan Torres; daughters-in-law, Grisel Torres and Virna L. Torres; grandchildren, Solgisselle Torres, Manuel J. Torres Jr., Juan C. Torres Jr., Sade E. Ramos, and German G. Navarro; great-grandchildren, Javier E. Torres, Aavya Torres, Jadiel R. Torres, and Xavier J. Torres; sisters, Felicidad Rivera, Milagros Rivera, and Celia Corcino Rivera; nieces, Iris (Daly) Felix, Yvonne Miray, Ivelisse Torres, Isabel (Tuty) Torres, Zulma Torres, Susan Torres, Luz Navine, Catia Feliciano, and Priscilla Diaz; nephews, Jesus Manuel Diaz, Felipe Torres, Richard (Richy) Garcia, and Daniel Ramirez; cousin, Ana Morales; and sisters-in-law, Nora Torres, Juana Torres, Isabel Torres, and Margo Perkins.

Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Divine Chapel.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Iglesia Hermanos Unidos en Cristo (HUEC) El Buen Pastor, Estate Richmond, St. Croix. Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the service at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow to the Old Veteran Section in Kingshill Cemetery.
