It is with profound sadness, yet hearts filled with gratitude for a life well lived, that we announce the passing of Mr. Maxius Dalsan, who peacefully departed this life on July 31, 2026, at the age of 78.

Maxius was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and faithful friend. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous spirit, unwavering love for his family, and the kindness he extended to everyone whose lives he touched. His wisdom, gentle presence, and enduring faith will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Wilmina Sydney and SonSon Joseph; his daughter, Farida "Patsy" N. John; his brother, Lenny Sydney; and his sister, Linda Loretta Marcellin.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his beloved wife, Varoona Fedora Dalsan; his loving daughters, Rufina Dalson, Clarita Dalsan, Linda Dalson, and Faryal N. John.

He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Akeem Browne, Reine Mila, Yasmine Mila, Omega Harris, Syedha McDuffie, Kamilla JnBaptiste, Kyile JnBaptiste, Kadeem Dalson, Quinton Paddy Foot, and Aniyah Leandre.

His legacy continues through his treasured great-grandchildren: Anai Maxius Browne, Jenyrah Dalson, Donnell Dalson, Kayzien Dalson, James Hosanna Jr., Azalea Floyd, Nova Hall, Samara McDuffie, Faith McDuffie, Naomi McDuffie, Gabriella Ray, Kaiden Ray, and Jeremy Battle.

He also leaves to mourn his passing his brothers: Ventos, John Sydney, Cornelius Sydney, and Gregory Sydney; his sisters: Molin, Vlina, Rufina, Sylvia, Almira, Irma, Mother Rosaria, and Devica; his cherished in-laws: Kathy Ramnath, Rosa Sulayman, and Hisharm Mohamed; his special friends: Juliana Jules, Cyrille Mary George, Carol Sydney, Happy Robinson Stanislas, and the Nurse family; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, church family, neighbors, and countless friends whose lives were blessed by knowing him.

Though his earthly journey has ended, the love, kindness, and memories he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His life was a testament to faith, perseverance, and unconditional love for family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered forever.

A funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Apostolic Faith Mission, #487 Strawberry Hill Drive, Kingshill, VI 00850. Viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
