Marie Eldica Registe

It is with profound sadness that the family of Marie Eldica Registe announces her passing on October 28, 2026, at the age of 79. Marie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, relative, and friend whose love and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Marie leaves to cherish her precious memories of her beloved sons, Phillip Bruno, Franklin Bruno, and Grandell Bruno; her adopted sons, Bevin Bruno and Olivier Joseph; and her daughters, Angella Serrant and Evangeline Bruno-Benjamin. She is also survived by her brothers, Clement Registe, Jno Baptiste Augustine, and Haynes Registe; and her sisters, Maria Registe, Augustina Dodds, and Clayron Registe.

Marie also leaves behind her loving sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, Angela Bruno, Vincia Timothy-Bruno, Catherine Bruno, and Gibbs Serrant; as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Julian Dodds, Naser Awadeh, Lena Registe, Tazy Registe, Ephemia Augustine, and Barbara Registe.

Her cherished grandchildren include Phillip Bruno Jr., Erwin Bruno, Travis Bruno, Jiovanni Bruno, Kevin Bruno, Shirlyn Bruno, Kayshaun Bruno, Kenya-Marie Bruno, Reena Monrose, Mia Bruno, Wyatt Bruno, Tara Robinson, Jordi Serrant, Austin Charles, and Angelin & Brent Benjamin. Marie was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Ky’Mani Walton-Bruno, Skaii Bruno, Mateo Bruno, Makai Bruno, Aza’Riah Serrant, Zoya Peterson, and Camille Robinson.

She is lovingly remembered by her many nieces, including Darian, Diana, Ashley, Finda, Catherine, Bernice, Kishma, Linda, Cecilia, Daisy, Brenda, Janet, Annmarie, Jolly, Aliana, Angela, Bernice, Miranda, Magdalene, Judith, Joyce, Cleo, and Hermina. Her nephews include Curtis, Jeffrey, Gregory, Kenny, Troy, Curt, Devon, Tanick, Matthew, Jeff, Jeffrey, Augustus, McLean, Andy, Donny, Nigel, Felix, Felixon, Lincoln, Linton, Linon, Alison, Kester, Jason, Fred, Ali, Van, David, Bernard, John, Bradley, Trevor, Michael, Cleveland, Jeffrey, and Herman.

Marie also leaves behind many special friends and extended family members who held a special place in her life, including Clair, Hermina, Derick and Meudy Webster; the Boatswain family; her neighbors of Flamboyant Garden; Sister and Brother Maglore; the King family; the pastor and members of Peter’s Rest Seventh-day Adventist Church; Vaswani Gauton; Ferilis; CJ Robinson; Nurse Thomas; Linda; Marisia Thomas; the Stout family; and her Seventh-day Adventist church family in St. Thomas and St. Croix. She is also survived by many other relatives, loved ones, and dear friends too numerous to mention, all of whom will cherish the beautiful memories they shared with her.

Funeral service will be held on November 22, 2026, at the Central Seventh Day Adventist Church, Estate Grove Place, Frederiksted VI 00840. Viewing will begin at 9:00 A.M. and service at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at the Kingshill cemetery.
