James Alfred Christian

James Alfred Christian peacefully passed away on August 26, 2026. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Christian Sr. and Helen Christian; his brothers, David and Warren Christian; and his nephews, Raymond, Kevin and Elton.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Walter Jr., Wayne, Paul, Mario, Robert, Gregory Christian; his sisters, Lorraine, Norma, Paulette, Diane Christian, and Tiona Ryan; his aunts, Carmen Russell and Doreen Isaac-Petty; and his uncle, Granville Christopher.

He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces, Sherriane, Keffanie, Alexandria, Tishawn, D’shawn, Lashaun, N’Kisha, Ebony, L’oreal, Shenee, Demour, Monea, Denniqua, Renniqua, Shenniqua, Anniqua, Yahniqua, Jahniqua, and Akira; his nephews, Devin, Larry, Jamal, Ashaun, Rashaun, Warren Jr., Shaun, Terrel, Roi, Ray, Lionel, Robert Jr., Marrio Jr., David Jr., Jaleel, Akai, Kahdeem, Kahreem, Kahmal and Makayah.

His memory will also be cherished by his cousins, Franz Christian Sr. and Family, Valderia Miller and Family, Betty Rawlins and Family, Shedroch Gill, Kristen Petty and Family, Lynette Amy, Lisa, Curliss, Audrey, Claudette Williams and Family, and Marilyn Christian and Family; his in-laws, Nicole, Cusa, Felicia, and Carmen Christian; and many other relatives and loved ones.

James will be fondly remembered by his special friends, Butch, Alphonso James, Wayne Brown, Bernard Brown and Family, Toucun, The Concordia West Family, Julian, Curly Charles, Bruno and Babolli, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham, Jeremy, Ramona Menders and Family, Warren Smith, and Malo.

Many other families and friends are too numerous to mention but will forever hold James in their hearts.

Funeral services for James Alfred Christian will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Friedensberg Moravian Church in Frederiksted, located across from Frederiksted Cemetery, viewing at 9:00 AM, funeral service at 10:00 AM.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
