Frederick M. Mohammed Jr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Frederick M. Mohammed Jr., who was born on October 15, 1973, and departed this life on September 30, 2026, at the age of 52. Frederick was a cherished son, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frederick M. Mohammed Sr. He leaves behind a loving family who will continue to treasure the memories they shared with him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Kathleen Smith-Maccow; his daughters, Baajah Mohammed, Jahkeelah Mohammed; his god daughter S'niyrah Moving; and his sons, Samara Shaw, Rizin Jackson, Kymani, Najah, Jarius, and Jahnoy Mohammed. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Messiah, Zion, and Kelilah; his brother, Stanford Maccow Jr.; and his sister, Tamara McMillan and Avian Changa.

Frederick also leaves behind his grandparents, Ann V. Barry and Francisca (Tita) Rodriguez Hospedales; his aunts, Dolores Braithwaite, Shaharazad Cleaver, and Philippa Hospedales; and his uncles, Melbourne Adams (Marie) and Joe Mohammed (Anasara). He will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, special friends, extended family members, and all whose lives he touched. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, but the memories he created will continue to live on.

As we mourn his passing, we give thanks for the life Frederick lived and the memories he leaves behind. May his family and friends find comfort in one another during this difficult time, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 22, 2026, at Divine Funeral Services #129 Peters Rest from 3-5pm.

A funeral service will be held on October 23, 2026 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, located at 416 Custom House Street, Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands 00840. The viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery Veteran Section.
