Doreen Romain

The family of Doreen Romain announces with deep sorrow her peaceful passing on March 1, 2026. She was born on October 10, 1927, and lived a long and blessed life surrounded by family, friends, and her faith. She will be remembered for her strength, wisdom, and the love she shared with everyone who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving daughters Marcella, Allison, Patricia, Marina, and Flavia, and her devoted sons Lipson, Irvin, and Francis.

She was the proud grandmother of 47 grandchildren, too numerous to mention individually, who will forever treasure her love, guidance, and prayers.

She is also survived by her nieces Lorma, Althea, and Lucia; her nephews Hayden, Henry, and Allanson; her daughter-in-law Sonia Bunche; and her special friends Linda, Ms. Bernadette, Warren, Ms. Lucy, the St. Joseph Church Family, and Franklin, along with many other relatives and friends whose lives she touched.

A viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at St. Joseph Church, Mount Pleasant, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Interment will immediately follow at Kingshill Cemetery.

Doreen Romain’s life was a testament to love, faith, and family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
